Registration Begins for Winter Storytime Session
Details:
Registration begins for the 6-Week Winter Storytime Session. All storytimes require pre-registration, as space is limited. Come to storytime each week on the same day and time for the duration of the session. Storytimes begin January 19 and run through February 25. You may register at the Children's Desk of the West Chester Library, or by calling 513-777-3131.
Rock-a-Bye Readers (6 Months - 23 Months)
Storytimes last about 30 minutes
(15 minutes of stories, 15 minutes of free play)
Tuesdays, 10:15 a.m. or 11:00 a.m.
Two-Year-Old Storytimes last approximately 20 minutes.
Wednesdays, 10:15 a.m. or 11:00 a.m.
Thursdays, 10:15 a.m.
Three and Four-Year-Old Storytimes last approximately 30 minutes
Mondays, 10:15 a.m., 11:00 a.m.
(There will be no Storytime on Monday January 18 or February 15)
Family Storytimes last approximately 30 minutes
NO REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED
Tuesdays 1:30 p.m.
STORYTIME CANCELLATION POLICY--Storytimes will follow the cancellation policy of the Lakota School system. Should Lakota schools be closed for inclement weather, storytimes will be canceled for that day.

This CET workshop uses the Business Administration Scale (BAS) to take a closer look at the working environment and how to maximize efficiency for the teachers and a quality learning experience for the children. Ohio’s Core Knowledge document (CKC) will also be utilized, in particular the sections on Learning Environments and Experience. Practical examples will be provided to highlight Ohio’s Early Learning Content Standards for Science and Social Studies.

LaRosa's will be donating 20% of the daily profits on Monday, April 19 to the children's Summer Reading Program. This will apply to dine in, pick up or delivery orders and include any item on the menu. The two participating locations are Lakota (Fountains Blvd and Cinci-Dayton Road) and Liberty (Hamilton Middletown Road across from Kroger).

Registration begins for the 5-Week Fall Storytime Session II. All storytimes require pre-registration, as space is limited. Come to storytime each week on the same day and time for the duration of the session. Storytimes begin November 8 and run through December 9. College Campus Safety
Details:
Officer Long from University of Cincinnati Crime Prevention will be addressing the issue of campus safety. Officer Long will be presenting facts to help ensure a student's safety in residence halls, classes, and in their social lives. Preventative measures will be discussed that will benefit both students and their parents. Time will be allotted for audience questions.
